I believe the global community is stuck in a valley of mediocrity and has found an acceptable means of justifying the reason the majority of mandkind does not strive for greatness. The "good enough" mentality is the enemy to our best. I am passionate about lifting as many people as I possibly can out of the valley of mediocrity, through literature, human interaction, and dreaming. I consider how much more there is that humans can do, and I am passionate about learning what we have yet to discover, as I believe there a very few limits for man.

Far too often, the words of Frederick Douglass, the great American abolitionist and orator; "he is still surrounded by an adverse sentiment which fetters all his movements. In his downward course he meets with no resistance, but his course upward is resented and resisted at every step of his progress. If he comes in ignorance, rags, and wretchedness, he conforms to the popular belief of his character, and in that character he is welcome. But if he shall come as a gentleman, a scholar, and a statesman, he is hailed as a contradiction to the national faith concerning his race, and his coming is resented as impudence. In the one case he may provoke contempt and derision, but in the other he is an affront to pride and provokes malice. Let him do what he will, there is at present, therefore, no escape for him. The color line meets him everywhere, and in a measure shuts him out from all respectable and profitable trades and callings," remains the sentement of far too many men and women around the global, in response to some group that does not meet their individual needs or immediate expectations. If we can somehow regain a sense of self-worthiness that does not cause us to emotionally lessen the intricate value of other humans, I believe we can benefit in a manner that will deliver all humans, unrestricted, to the destination we all most chiefly desire. Every human has extreme value. If we can start to look upon one another is this manner and harvest the greatness that is in all mankind, collectively, we can save ourselves from ourselves. There are approximately 8 billion inhabitants of planet earth. Imagine a world in which each person benefits from the collective worth that the world possesses, and benefit with conscious intent, recognizing that the sum value of 8 billion homo sapiens makes the individual man or women insignificant in isolation. Our value is only derived and realized as being a part of the collective human race. If the other 8 billion humans on earth did not exist, our individual lives would not be worth living, as homo sapiens are insignificant to all other species living in the univers. We all matter, or no one does. Every human has value. Lets get busy developing that mindset, collectively.

The very first TED Talk I listened to discussed what happens when we leave the comfort of our intuition and go to the very edge of our knowledge and connect with other spheres of knowledge. I have been living on the edge of my knowledge ever since connecting with other spheres of knowledge. It has made a big difference in my life and my lived experiences. I remain as passionate as ever with staying on the edge and connecting with other emotional beings.

The human mind tends to be either rational or creative. My mind functions equally well at rationalizing and being creative. I won art contest, spelling bees, and math challenges all throughout my academic lived experience. It is rare that one mind functions extremely well in each of the higher vortexes of the human brain. Most don't know I won a painting contest as a 6th grade students with a painted I titled "This Troubled World." I was given an opportunity as an elementary school-aged student to attend college.
