The TED story
I have always believed that ideas, when shared boldly, can change the course of people’s lives. TED’s mission to spread knowledge and inspire action speaks directly to my work in decarbonisation training, sustainability, community empowerment, and innovative problem solving. To me, these are not just themes; they are the foundations of modern leadership.
My journey into TEDx began after watching countless talks that moved me, challenged me, and pushed me to think differently. I realised the power of creating spaces where people can come together to share insights that spark change, fuel progress, and reimagine what is possible.
Serving as the President of Visionary Voices at the University of Derby 25/26 further deepened my love for intentional gatherings where ideas are exchanged openly and courageously.
TED’s mission reinforces my belief that when ideas are shared, communities grow stronger, and I feel it is only right that I contribute my voice and my efforts to that mission.
