Started coming to TED in 2011 as a TEDx organizer from Mumbai. Built TEDxGateway into one of the world's largest TEDx conferences. Kept coming back. But the thing that changed what I'm building wasn't a talk. It was the hallways. Everyone at TED has been vetted. Everyone is accountable. You can relax. You can be honest. That kind of trust is rare — and it's disappearing everywhere else. EDGE started from that observation. What if the most valuable thing about a community like TED isn't the content — it's the trust? And what if you could build infrastructure that makes that kind of trust work at scale, in a world where AI is flooding every other network with noise? That's the question I'm sitting with.
