Being an innovative educator is my academic mission. I work as an advocate for my University students and as a mentor and enabler for students, alumni, and community innovators and entrepreneurs. I teach students from a diverse set of academic disciplines, delivering innovative means to facilitate learning.

Educating and mentoring people who want to be entrepreneurs.

Four Rowan University students proposed TEDx to me in Fall 2024; before that time, I had never considered it for our institution. These four students - Aiden Tahmazian, Sapjah Zapotitla, Ella Pennington, and Victora Van - are University Innovation Fellows, and they proposed it for their UIF project. Together, we (mostly them) did the legwork to obtain a TEDx license and plan our first event for April 2025. I'm forever grateful to these young people for spurring our University to deliver a TEDx Program!
