Bio
Marius Born is a media professional and personal coach, with a wealth of senior management experience within the TV industry. He served as the Editor-in-Chief of Swiss television’s weekly business magazine and headed the documentary department at SRF Swiss Radio and Television. His work in journalism and format development, recognized with numerous awards, was complemented by his corporate experience at IBM’s headquarters in New York.
Marius advises entrepreneurs, CEOs, and board members of various leading companies and organizations. In academia, he shares his insights as a lecturer in visual storytelling and communication strategy at the Zurich University of Applied Sciences ZHAW and the University of St. Gallen HSG. His research centers on the
dynamics of trust formation, particularly within contexts of uncertainty. Marius earned a master’s degree in business administration and organizational psychology from the
University of Zurich, along with a summa cum laude PhD in communication sciences, specializing in discourse and argumentation, from the Università della Svizzera italiana USI.
