I’m a former CEO and General Manager of international companies, in different sectors (clothing, beauty, hosiery and underwear). While being the General Manager and CEO of Davines, an Italian group active in the beauty industry, I contributed to its transformation into a certified B Corp and a benefit company. I taught Innovation Management for the Solvay Brussels School and I’m the author of the book “Il Progetto di Vita”, a methodology about how to define the own project of life. I’m the organizer of TEDxMantova. After leaving the role of CEO of Davines, while remaining in its board of directors, I’m now focused on pro bono advice and activism, particularly to promote the spread of the B Corp movement, for which I’m a member of the Supervisory Board of B Lab Europe. Moreover, I’m contributing to the foundation of the “B Corp Beauty coalition”, an organization willing to raise the bar of sustainability in the beauty industry, and of “The Good Business Academy”, which will be started by a consortium of 26 Italian universities and the local B Corp movement. Finally, I’m in the advisory board of the “B Corp school”, a project aiming at building a new generation of changemakers through sustainable entrepreneurship.
