Catherine Andersz is the Co-Founder and former CEO of Apryse (formerly PDFTron & Xodo), where she spent nearly two decades building one of the world’s leading document technology platforms. Under her leadership, Apryse grew from a bootstrapped startup into a global company powering digital transformation for hundreds of enterprises, including many Fortune 100 organizations. Catherine is known not only for her strategic vision and deep commitment to innovation, but also for her ability to build high-performing teams and a strong, values-driven culture—creating an environment where people are empowered to do their best work and grow alongside the company. She led Apryse through a period of significant expansion, including multiple strategic acquisitions and two major growth investments from Silversmith Capital Partners and Thoma Bravo. This phase helped position the company as a category leader and realize its vision to transform the way the world works with documents and digital content. Today, Catherine remains a significant shareholder and active board member, while also investing in and mentoring the next generation of entrepreneurs. She is deeply committed to social impact, with a focus on expanding access to health resources, education and supporting underserved communities through her philanthropic work.
