Bio

I am an experienced international educator with over 17 years of teaching experience in England, Spain, Poland and Turkey. Holding an MA in Applied Linguistics and additional qualifications in neuroscience in education, I am passionate about creating engaging, student-centered learning experiences. I specialize in curriculum development, innovative educational projects, and organizing inspiring events such as TEDxYouth. Living in Türkiye, I share my passion for education, culture, and travel through creative projects and digital content.

I'm passionate about

I am passionate about education, neurolinguistics, and cultural storytelling. I believe that understanding how the brain learns can transform education, which is why I enjoy applying neuroscience and neurolinguistics to help students learn more effectively and reach their full potential. I am also passionate about inspiring young people through innovative teaching and meaningful learning experiences. Beyond the classroom, I love sharing the history, culture, and hidden gems of Istanbul through my vlogs, connecting people with the city's unique stories and spirit.

An idea worth spreading

The classroom is not just a place for knowledge—it is a place where confidence, creativity, and courage are built.

The TED story

My TED story is about my journey as an international educator who believes that education can transform lives when it goes beyond knowledge and focuses on voice, confidence, and how the brain learns. Living and working in Istanbul has also shaped my perspective, allowing me to connect cultures and share stories through both education and vlogging. The journey of preparing for the TEDx event became an extension of this mission. It was not just about organizing talks, but about guiding young people to find their ideas, shape their messages, and gain the courage to stand on stage and speak. Supporting them through this process reinforced my belief that powerful ideas often begin quietly, but grow through encouragement, structure, and belief. At its core, my TED story is about helping others find their voice—while also rediscovering the power of ideas worth sharing through every step of the journey.
