Dhruvi is a passionate student leader, global thinker, and community builder currently pursuing a Bachelor of Commerce in Global Management Studies with a minor in Economics at Toronto Metropolitan University. As President of TEDxTorontoMetU, she has led the transformation of a student-run initiative into a dynamic platform for voices that challenge the status quo and share bold ideas. Dhruvi's journey has spanned continents, growing up in India and now studying in Canada, she has found power in embracing diverse perspectives and creating inclusive spaces for dialogue. With a keen interest in entrepreneurship, public speaking, and innovation, Dhruvi is committed to using storytelling to amplify underrepresented voices and spark change. Her guiding philosophy? Curiosity is contagious and every story has the potential to make a difference.

TED came into my life as more than just videos on YouTube, it became a window into ideas, people, and conversations that stayed with me long after the screen went dark. When I joined TEDxTorontoMetU as their Chair of Conference, I never imagined I would one day lead the team as President. Curating and hosting our annual conference featuring 6 speakers who shared personal, bold, and often unspoken ideas was a full-circle moment. But TED has impacted more than just my leadership it has changed how I listen, how I question, and how I show up in the world. It taught me that one idea, one story, one voice can shift perspectives. That realisation continues to drive me, not just to find my own voice, but to help others find theirs, too.
