I'm a media professional of over 20 years, my work has primary been as a radio presenter on both commercial and government radio. I'm a Mum to two beautiful girls and believe that with more individual compassion the world could be a different place.

The value of live, locally produced radio as a medium that connects, entertains and informs. The importance of interpersonal relationships from strongly connected children to safe and secure friendships and romantic relationships. Giving back.

Dependence breeds independence. Don't be quick to label your baby as clingy or a 'velcro baby' - allow them the joy of attachment and dependence until they learn security. Dependence breeds independence!

I have a really strong awareness of the incredible stories and innovations in my region through my work as a radio producer and presenter, and it occurred to me that we need our own global TED platform to share these ideas. I applied for and was granted the license for TEDxWollongong in 2025 and Directed my first event in March 2026. I am now amassing a team to look to the future and plan the next decade of events. I am connected with other Australain licensees and plan to attend a qualifying event in Malaysia.
