Bio

Ayisha Burziyeva is an 18-year-old high school graduate from Baku, Azerbaijan, who completed her education at an international school with honors, achieving a perfect 5.00/5.00 GPA and the Azerbaijan Republic Honors High School Diploma. Currently taking a gap year before pursuing university studies in 2025, she is focusing on refining her goals and exploring her intended major, political science. Known as one of the most active and impactful students in her community, she held leadership roles such as President of the Student Council and was instrumental in organizing large-scale events, including three Model UN conferences. She has excelled in diverse fields, from leading the Baku Medical Society to competing as a professional dancer, earning national medals, and finishing a music school. Her passion for community service is evident in her work as a teacher in a pilot initiative for underprivileged children, her leadership in her school’s sustainability club, and her ongoing efforts to establish an NGO and education equality platform. Fluent in five languages, with two more in progress, she has interned in fields ranging from B2B sales to Research and Analytics and contributes to women's rights projects in rural areas. As a proud Lezgin, she actively raises awareness about her ethnic heritage, working to preserve and promote her culture. Additionally, her soon-to-be-published articles highlight overlooked social issues. Ayisha is a driven individual dedicated to making a meaningful impact on both local and global scales.
