UC Berkeley, Computer Science back when computers were BIG. Co-founded NuvoMedia, an early e-book company in the 1990s, then co-founded Tesla Motors in 2003. Until recently, I was an elected school board member for nine years and also served on a county commission for five years.
Currently a Venture Partner at Spero Ventures, looking for companies working on creating a future of sustainable abundance.

An idea worth spreading
The way to stop the world from cannibalizing the future is to apply appropriate technologies as aggressively and completely as possible. That happens at the government level, the corporate level, and all the way down to what kinds of plants and animals we put in our backyards.
