I'm passionate about

I’m passionate about creating a healthier, more sustainable world through the power of science, education, and community engagement. My work bridges biochemistry, nutrition, public health, and environmental sustainability — with a special focus on how we can heal both people and the planet. Whether I’m in the classroom, in the lab, or working on projects that promote bioremediation and nutritional wellness, I’m driven by the belief that knowledge should lead to action and that small efforts can spark big change. I’m especially inspired by the power of storytelling to connect science with everyday life and empower people to make informed, impactful choices.

The TED story

As someone deeply invested in science, sustainability, and human well-being, I've always believed that knowledge should not stay locked within academic walls. As a lecturer at Skyline University Nigeria, with degrees in Biochemistry, Nutritional Biochemistry, and Public Health, I spend my days teaching, researching, and mentoring — but I’ve always felt called to do more. TED has long inspired me with its power to transform lives through the sharing of bold ideas. I’ve watched talks that made me rethink the world, my work, and even myself. TED represents a global stage where knowledge meets purpose, and where science becomes personal. It’s not just about facts; it’s about impact. Though I haven’t yet delivered a TED talk, I’ve often imagined what it would mean to stand on that red circle, sharing ideas about the role of nutrition in public health, how bioremediation can restore our environment, or how we can design more sustainable futures — all told through stories rooted in science, culture, and community. My TED story is still unfolding. But it’s powered by a deep desire to inspire, connect, and ignite action — not just in lecture halls, but on a platform that celebrates ideas worth spreading.

Things you might not know

People don’t know I’m good at translating complex scientific ideas — especially around sustainability, nutrition, and bioremediation — into relatable, real-world insights. While most see me as a lecturer or researcher, I have a deep passion for public science communication and storytelling. Whether it's breaking down the science of what we eat or exploring how local innovations can help heal the environment, I find joy in making knowledge accessible, actionable, and inspiring. I'm also skilled at connecting diverse disciplines to foster interdisciplinary solutions that can truly drive sustainable change.
