Bio

Maggie Musanje Bukowa is the founder of Credorsave Services, a Zambian social enterprise that provides smallholder farmers—especially women—with access to irrigation, clean energy, and biofortified crop inputs through a pay-as-you-go model. Raised in a farming household, Maggie understands firsthand the barriers rural families face in adapting to climate change. Through Credorsave, she works with cooperatives to offer inclusive financing, agronomy training, and nutrition-focused support that increases yields, improves food security, and boosts household income. Her model ensures that farmers pay gradually after harvest, and the enterprise also runs cooking classes to promote the household consumption of nutrient-rich crops. Maggie is passionate about community-led climate resilience and creating dignified, farmer-centered solutions to food insecurity. Maggie holds a Masters Degree of Climate Change: Policy, Media and Society from Dublin City University-Ireland
