Cem Özbay is an English teacher and the licensed organizer of TEDx Alanya HGFL Youth, dedicated to creating spaces where young people discover their voice and unlock their potential. As the coordinator of a dynamic student team, he brings education, creativity, and community together to build a culture of curiosity and confidence. His work focuses on empowering youth to think boldly, communicate meaningfully, and lead with purpose.

Creating opportunities that allow students to discover who they are beyond grades and expectations. I'm passionate about building communities where young people feel seen, heard, and inspired to shape their own future with courage and kindness.

Young people don’t need permission to lead—only a platform that trusts their potential. When education moves beyond memorization and becomes an invitation to explore, every student can transform curiosity into action and ideas into impact.

TED entered my life as a source of inspiration and became a mission: to bring that same spark to young minds in my own community. Organizing TEDx Alanya HGFL Youth showed me how powerful students can be when they are trusted with real responsibility. Now, TED is not just an event I host—it’s a movement we hope to grow, year after year, so that every voice has a stage and every idea has a chance to flow. Let the ideas flow.
