Bio

I am a 2nd year law student at the University of London, studying at its recognized teaching center Beaconhouse International College, Lahore. I am a passionate journalist, debater, and social activist as well as a peer tutor and teacher for multiple subjects such as A Level Law, Sociology, Urdu, and English Language.

I'm passionate about

writing and public speaking. I love highlighting different social issues and suggesting practical remedies for them. I raise awareness on issues such as poverty, education, brain drain, climate change and environment, women empowerment, equality of opportunity through my Instagram Blog and articles in newspapers and magazines.

An idea worth spreading

In this vast world, there are gazillions of ideas worth spreading and I believe even a million lifetimes would be insufficient to spread them all. However, at present; I believe the most pressing issue is Climate Change. And this is an idea worth pressing because the global climate is rapidly changing and becoming increasingly unpredictable. In order to survive, and ensure the healthy survival of our future generations, it is crucial to address this issue and inculcate sustainable practices from the grassroot level.

The TED story

My TED Story is being given the award of the Pakistan Distinction Holder in O Level English Language Examination (2021). Struggling against declining health due to Covid, hardships such as financial, and personal, navigating the death of two close family members, was incredibly hard and tested my resolve in ways I never imagined. Even then, I did not give up, and it is a proud story for me- one that I will always remember and cherish. And bearing all that grief, continuing to work hard through it, paid me off! Not only did I get a national distinction, but also emerged as the Batch Valedictorian for my year! It taught me to never give up- no matter what!

People don't know I'm good at

debating. I debated a lot in my middle and senior school years. Then I gave a gap during my A Levels in order to focus more on academics. I am back to debating now. I have debated across multiple formats such as parliamentary style debating as well as impromptu and bilingual debating.
