Nayera Selim, Ph.D. in Educational Philosophy, is a UAE School Leadership licensed deputy Principal, with 18 years of experience in the educational sector, preceded by eight years of experience in the financial industry. She is a passionate and enthusiastic education leader with vast years of experience, teaching values-driven young people while augmenting processes in international academic environments, and dedicated to consistently delivering excellence. A motivational leader with a demonstrated ability to manage high-performing teams and facilitate continuous professional development training to enhance student learning. Nayera is skilled at cultivating productive and meaningful relationships with learners, parents, co-workers, and senior executives. She held the position of Mathematics Department Head, and her responsibilities included curriculum coordination; and maintaining the sequential, comprehensive, and interdisciplinary nature of the Mathematics curriculum as per CCSS standards. She was granted a master of Arts in Secondary Education, from Acacia University, Arizona. She has been bestowed with an Honorary Doctorate Degree in Philosophy of Education from Maryland State University by His Highness Dr. Yaqoob Al Ali, Executive Chairman, Office of His Highness Sheikh Juma Bin Maktoum Al Maktoum 2025. She is earning her Doctorate Degree in Educational leadership from Acacia University, Arizona. She is a certified School supervisor from the Illinois State Board of Education, Chicago, USA. She's also a certified ELEOT observer, Cognia, and she holds a CITA teaching certificate. She had also participated multiple times as a member of the steering committee preparing for the accreditation in three international schools in Egypt; AdvancedEd and CITA. Nayera Selim, M.A.Ed., has a philosophy in education that emphasizes the creation of an interactive learning environment, differentiating instructions, and mentoring teaching methodologies through a well-structured plan for team teachers’ professional development. Her wider philosophy for schools aims at creating a better learning environment for students, establishing a Professional Learning Community for teachers, and inviting parents to participate in the educational decisions.
