I started my career as a programmer. Over time, I moved into general management. Some of my formative roles were - Head of IBM's Supercomputing Software Laboratory, the first VP of Linux and Open Source Strategy at IBM, head of SPSS and IBM's predictive analytics business, Chief Marketing Officer and head of eCommerce for Lenovo, General Manager of IBM's Cloud & Smarter Infrastructure business, Head of Software Value Creation at Hellman & Friedman (PE). I have been fortunate to be involved with and leading many disruptive business models. I've seen first hand the impact Artificial Intelligence and cloud computing has had on a variety of use cases in several industries. With Gen AI and LLMs, we are in the early innings of a very exciting era.
