I am an associate professor with a PhD in management, I have 22 years of teaching experience in the fields of Management, Entrepreneurship and Organizational Communication. I organize and coordinate multiple initiatives for students, such as their volunteer activities, conferences, workshops, and entrepreneurial education programs. I have been leading an active NGO for 11 years, focused on women's leadership, and I benefited from a Fulbright scholarship in the USA, where I was a visiting professor in entrepreneurial education.

Education, empowering others, creativity and community building. I have a deep commitment to teaching and mentoring students, helping them develop entrepreneurial skills and navigate the business world. Through my work in leadership programs and volunteer coordination, my aim is to inspire and support young people, particularly in developing confidence, creativity, and practical skills. Whether through student-led events or coordination of different programs, I am dedicated to connecting and uplifting diverse groups.

It was an unforgettable moment when I stepped onto the TEDx Brașov Women stage. The bright lights, the sea of expectant faces, and the weight of sharing my story on a platform known for shaping ideas into global movements—it was exhilarating and humbling all at once. I spoke about transformation, empowerment, and the incredible potential we all carry to impact others. But as the applause echoed and I left the stage, I couldn’t have imagined that this experience would later inspire me to create something even bigger. Fast forward to this year, a year of change and new beginnings. I had taken on the role of coordinating volunteer activities for students in the Management and Business Administration study programs (Faculty of Economic Sciences and Business Administration) at our university. In this role, I found myself immersed in a dynamic environment filled with passionate students, innovative ideas, and a palpable drive to make a difference. Every day, I witnessed projects that showcased creativity, collaboration, and a willingness to challenge the status quo. Students and professors energy was infectious, and their ideas sparked a thought that I couldn’t shake: “Why not bring their voices to a bigger stage?” The memories of my own TEDx experience came flooding back. I remembered how empowering it felt to share my story, to connect with an audience on such an authentic level, and to contribute to a global community of changemakers. It was then that the idea struck me - our university needed its own TEDx event, a platform to amplify these remarkable student and professors-led initiatives and showcase the talent within our walls. And so, TEDx UNITBV was born.
