My voyage starts with a quest to understand what truly aligns with my central beliefs; impact and value. Based on this alignment, I found myself crafting and shaping narratives that reflect these values. This journey originated from my involvement with FutureChallenges in Germany and as a Media Director at 1 Billion Africa. However, I felt the pressing need to evolve further by launching a social enterprise focused on financial literacy and loans for small businesses. I was also compelled to contribute to community upliftment through volunteering. Together with a cadre of dedicated young professionals, we put together a TEDx event. My academic credentials include a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Geography. Apart from these achievements, I possess skills like effective communication, project management, creativity, leadership, and problem-solving. Accordingly, I decided to explore the domains of business and data analysis, along with product design. As an individual, I have an inquiring mind, a compassionate heart, and an unwavering willingness to welcome new perspectives. I deeply believe in teamwork, as I flourish working alongside varied teams to develop efficient design strategies. My confidence lies in the strength of open conversations and genuine empathy, fostering solid relationships with clients and colleagues.

My journey with TED has been nothing short of transformative. What started as a volunteer opportunity with TEDxAccra evolved into a passion for creating platforms where diverse voices can be heard and celebrated. Through TEDxAfariwaa, I've learned the power of storytelling to bridge divides, challenge perspectives, and inspire action. As I continue on this journey, I am reminded of the words of TED founder Richard Saul Wurman: "Information is giving out; communication is getting through." TEDx events are not just about sharing information – they're about fostering genuine communication and connection, and I am honored to be a part of that mission.
