Hello, my name is Amina Mammadzada. I’m from Azerbaijan and hold a Bachelor’s in Translation and Interpretation and a Master’s in Business Management. I’ve been teaching English for six years, with a strong focus on public speaking, helping students build confidence and express their ideas. I’m passionate about inspiring young people to become creative and opinionated individuals. Outside of teaching, I enjoy art, fashion, horse riding, tennis, and watching documentaries.

At the core of my passion is a desire to contribute positively to the world with the resources I have. I see myself as a global citizen, committed to caring for our shared home. I support animal welfare, value education and mentoring, and enjoy inspiring others through creativity and design. I am especially passionate about helping those in need and hope to make a meaningful impact through philanthropy. Through these efforts, I aim to promote a more compassionate, connected, and beautiful world.

An idea worth spreading is the power of empathy and care. In a world that often feels disconnected, empathy can drive meaningful change. By caring for the environment, we protect our planet and its ecosystems. By showing compassion toward animals, we support balance and humane treatment. And by understanding others, we can build more inclusive and supportive communities. Empathy also begins with self-awareness, helping us grow and make better decisions. If we embrace empathy in all areas of life, we can create a more connected and sustainable world.

I've been captivated by TED Talks since I was a child, finding them incredibly inspiring, thought-provoking, and valuable for my personal growth. Over the years, I watched dozens of these talks, each one offering new insights and perspectives that fuelled my curiosity and ambition. As I transitioned into adulthood, I was fortunate to begin my career at a school filled with talented and innovative thinkers. This environment not only nurtured my love for learning but also presented the perfect opportunity to bring the magic of TED Talks into our community. By creating a platform for these thought-provoking discussions, we aim to inspire and engage others in the same way that TED Talks have inspired me throughout the years. It's incredibly fulfilling to see the positive impact that sharing ideas can have, encouraging both young and old alike to think differently, challenge norms, and explore new possibilities. Something people might not know about me is that I have a talent for writing movie scenarios. My imagination is one of my greatest strengths, allowing me to come up with unique storylines and intriguing plots. Crafting narratives and developing characters is something I truly enjoy, and it's a skill I take pride in. Whether it's dreaming up fantastical worlds or creating relatable, human stories, I love the process of bringing stories to life.
