Bio

I am an undergraduate of mechanical engineering. I spent the last 3 years designing and building race-cars for my university's formula racing team. I am into exploring, discovering, and experiencing, and believe in the power of work.

I'm passionate about

I want to make lives easier for people. I am passionate about discovering, understanding people, knowing their stories, their experiences and their histories; then finding out, how we can help make those lives better, how we can level the playing field for everyone. I believe in the principle of egalitarianism.

An idea worth spreading

Spending power is increasing, and there is an obvious influx of goods inside your house. But what about the stuff that is not needed anymore? Is that going out of your home the way it should? The idea is to create a system that takes care of various wastes products - from organic to electronic - at your home, collects them, and processes it as per the requirement so that our environment is clean and our homes clutter-free - at the touch of a screen.

The TED story

My first contact with TED happened in 2012, when the founder of tutoring-cum-educational website I was volunteering delivered a talk at TEDxSanJoseCA. I watched the live webinar and remember discussing TED pretty animatedly with my elder brother, who shared his collection TED talk videos with me. There's been no looking back since. I attended my first and only TED event at TEDxIIMCalcutta in August 2014. I realised that even though I hadn't heard of any of the speakers before - each of them was doing something revolutionary, affecting thousands of lives.
