Le An is passionate about people development, especially for kids, youth and women. She is the founder and CEO of "Bolan InnovEdu LLC", an organization designing innovative educational and HR developmental programs in China. She also helps on local companies to develop and communicate their value proposition. She is also an experienced system engineer in Cisco System in US and China for 8 years, at the same time, she was Chairwoman of Cisco Connected Women (CCW) China Chapter, leading various cross-functional and cross-industry programs to drive female employees’ self-realization and leadership development. Le An holds Masters Degree on Electronic Engineering and is working on her Master Degree on Developmental Psychology. She is Harvard SEED Fellow.

I’m the curator of TEDxKids@Xueyuanlu, the first and only TEDxKids in China till now. Since I was still expecting my baby son 3 years ago, my passion about connecting and developing people evolved to kids education naturally. I began to research on the current education system and content, and found that unfortunately, technology and business model is upgrading fast , but the education keeps the same as decades before. How can our new generation get connected to the future? In the past half year, I have launched two TEDxKids events in Beijing, China, and get connected to hundreds of kids, parents, teachers, education innovators and of course TEDxers. I’m deeply moved and motivated by the changes and inspirations TEDx has brought along and expecting this initiative can promote innovative education in China , and get the kids connected to the world and better prepared for the future!
