Business mentor, Educator/Teacher, Event planner

Bio

I am the proud father of two young boys and happily married to my wonderful wife. I hold degrees in Law and Business Administration, as well as a master’s degree in Strategic Management, Innovation, and Marketing. For the past 17 years, I have dedicated my career to assisting entrepreneurs. I began as a consultant, helping startups develop technological innovation projects, particularly those involving hardware or software, and securing financial resources to bring these projects to life. For the past seven and a half years, I have been working at the Innovation Hub of an educational institution called Inatel, renowned for its engineering programs. During this time, I’ve specialized in guiding young and inexperienced entrepreneurs as they build their businesses from the ground up. Our mission is to help aspiring engineers turn their dreams of making a societal impact into reality, leveraging the best practices and techniques available in the market. In addition to my work at the incubator and innovation hub, I am also a professor. I teach marketing in undergraduate and MBA programs and agile project management in postgraduate courses focused on Digital Transformation.

I'm passionate about

I am passionate about technology, entrepreneurship, and empowering others to achieve their goals. Through my work, I have the privilege of connecting with diverse innovation ecosystems, exploring their unique characteristics, and sharing valuable insights with our local community. What inspires me most is helping young entrepreneurs build their startups and use technology to create a better world. This mission fuels my drive every single day.

An idea worth spreading

I truly believe that knowledge and education are the path to creating a better society. When we provide quality education, with a solid foundation of practical and scientific knowledge, and add a bit of empathy and love for others, we have all the necessary ingredients to build, together, a more inclusive and just reality for everyone!

The TED story

Over the years, I have watched TED Talks online, always amazed by the quality of the content and ideas. However, I had never had the chance to attend a live event—until now. Experiencing TED Next in Atlanta was truly mind-blowing. I was completely unprepared for the full scope of the event: the diversity of content, the meticulous attention to every detail of the experience, and the flawless production. It transformed my understanding of what a TEDx event can and should be. I am incredibly excited to bring this knowledge and inspiration to our local community.

Things you might not know

Cooking! My grandmother raised seven children working as a cook. She made delicious savory snacks, sweets, and cakes for parties. Although my mother never worked professionally with food, she learned everything from my grandmother and became an incredible cook. I may not be as skilled as they are, but I can cook quite well too—especially when it comes to meats!
