Bio

Ariel Rubalcava, Executive Director of MDC-TV, brings over 30 years of experience in television production. Starting with Telemundo at 20, he became a news editor for NBC’s KPRC and swiftly rose to manage video production for Telemundo Network clients. Ariel founded his own company, thrived for over a decade, and later joined MDC-TV. As the first Hispanic network editor to use Non-Linear editing, he earned an Emmy in 1992. Under his leadership, MDC-TV has won 10 regional Emmys, adding to his lifetime total of 11. He is a master of numerous editing systems and a key player in major film festivals.
