Erica Terry Derryck is a communications professional with nearly 30 years experience in the public and private sectors. She currently leads internal and external communications globally for Intuit’s Global Business Solutions Group – the company’s largest and fastest-growing business unit that delivers QuickBooks and Mailchimp to 10 million business customers worldwide. Prior to joining Intuit, she led the global PR, social, editorial and marketing partnership teams at Mozilla, the makers of the Firefox web browser and drove HR communications at Gap Inc. She has also served as communications director for former Oakland, CA Mayor Libby Schaaf and the San Francisco District Attorney’s Office under Kamala D. Harris and George Gascón. A New York City native who lives in Oakland, CA, Erica holds a master’s degree in journalism from the University of California, Berkeley and a bachelor’s degree from Wesleyan University.
