An idea worth spreading
People matter most.
The world is open to connecting excellence more than it ever has been thanks to the internet, socials, and the ability to share and consume information.
Many people don’t realize the impacts of those closest to them until they are no longer around. Pay attention to who is in your “orbit” and this includes social media follows.
If people aren’t in line with where you want to go, find different people. This assessment should be done daily so that course corrections can happen before connections lead you down a path.
The TED story
I was introduced to TED through various degree programs, I would listen to some throughout my studies and often wondered if my research would ever be good enough for a TED stage. In 2023, after joining and applying to a few TEDx stages - I was selected for TEDxSouthLakeTahoe and I delivered how elite leaders make decisions. I have received great feedback from the talk and I am very excited to hear others stories.
