Bio

I am an ordinary college student with the ambition of curating exhibitions to convey my ideals and raise awareness of important issues to the public. Through curating, I hope to inspire the people around me to actively pay attention to significant social issues in our environment. I am a second-year undergraduate student majoring in History at National Taiwan Normal University. I am generally interested in international issues, economics, regional cultures, Japanese politics and history, human rights, and other related topics.

I'm passionate about

I am passionate about following social issues, political and economic topics, and studying related subjects such as macroeconomics, microeconomics, political science, international organizations, introduction to international relations, history, and cultural anthropology. I also enjoy making friends, expanding my network, and exploring new things. Recently, I have been eager to learn about leadership and team-building. In my free time, I love traveling to broaden my horizons and learn about different cultures and people from around the world.

An idea worth spreading

I believe that many social and international issues may seem unrelated to our daily lives, but in reality, they are deeply interconnected. Therefore, we should stand up and pay attention to these seemingly irrelevant issues, starting with ourselves and expanding our awareness to the surrounding community, the entire city, or even the whole country. Perhaps we can influence the leaders and those in power in international politics and economics, making them aware of the public's global engagement. This could potentially help prevent unnecessary international conflicts or exploitation of interests.

The TED story

I was originally a member of the TEDxNTNU2024 curation team, working under the curator to fulfill my responsibilities. During the annual event, I gained a strong sense of accomplishment and social engagement, which led me to take on the role of curator. I am now assembling a team in hopes of creating an annual event that reflects our shared vision! I’m currently writing my own exciting TEDx story!

Things you might not know

People don’t know that I’m good at managing my anxiety, but I often need to work with partners or share my emotions with them to free myself from anxious feelings. I am not a natural-born leader either; I still need to learn and gain practical experience to transform into a competent leader. Moreover, having many friends doesn’t mean I never experience social anxiety. On the contrary, it’s precisely because of my lack of security and satisfaction that I constantly seek new experiences and new friendships to find a sense of novelty.
