I am Solomon Adegbenro, an Accounting graduate and a passionate leader committed to using ideas, innovation, and collaboration to create impact. I currently serve as a TEDx Organizer, where I bring together thought leaders, innovators, and changemakers to share powerful ideas that can inspire transformation within and beyond my community. My journey has been shaped by my experience in leadership and service. At Crawford University, I held key student leadership positions, including Assistant Welfare Director of the Student Representative Council and a member of the Health Insurance Agency Board of Trustees. These roles taught me the importance of responsibility, teamwork, and social impact. Beyond academics and leadership, I am an entrepreneur and idea generator who thrives on solving problems, connecting people, and creating platforms for others to shine. Through my initiative, I aim to use the TEDx platform not just as an event but as a movement that drives growth, knowledge-sharing, and empowerment.

I am passionate about leadership, finance, and storytelling. I love creating platforms that amplify voices, build solutions, and inspire transformation. I care deeply about sustainable development, social entrepreneurship, and bridging the gap between ideas and implementation. I’m also passionate about using my skills in accounting and finance to promote accountability and transparency in both the private and public sector. My drive is rooted in service, helping people discover their potential and using ideas as tools for change.

I believe one idea can spark transformation when it connects with the right people. My idea worth spreading is the power of youth-driven leadership and innovation in shaping sustainable communities. Young people are often underestimated, yet they carry the creativity, resilience, and vision needed to address the challenges of today’s society. By combining innovation with accountability, youth can drive impactful solutions in governance, entrepreneurship, finance, and technology. This idea is about shifting focus from waiting for change to actively creating it, and from individual success to collective empowerment.

My TED story is about the power of platforms to transform lives. I have always admired how TED brings people together to share ideas that resonate globally, crossing cultures and boundaries. For me, TEDx is more than an event, it is a movement of hope, innovation, and change. Becoming a TEDx Organizer is part of my journey to give back, create space for new voices, and inspire others. My story is about turning leadership into service and using ideas to light paths for people who may feel unseen. Through TEDx, I want to continue building communities where ideas matter, voices are amplified, and change is inevitable.

People often don’t realize that I am skilled at creative problem-solving and storytelling. I have a natural ability to connect ideas across different fields finance, leadership, entrepreneurship, and social impact and turn them into actionable solutions. I’m also good at motivating people, simplifying complex issues, and building networks that make collaboration possible.
