I am an undergraduate Robertson Scholar at UNC Chapel Hill and Duke University interested in astrophysics. I research how galaxies and supermassive black holes evolve using large sets of NASA telescope data. I want to become an educator because I love teaching and have experienced how research opportunities and inclusive mentorship can brighten the lives of young people.

I got connected to TED as an alumnus of the Bezos Scholars Program (BSP), a year-long cohort-based leadership development program for high school seniors. BSP challenged me to define and live out my purpose, and I am excited to continue doing so at TED!
