Bio
Ganiv Kaur Tuteja is a passionate pre-med student and C-suite Executive Officer at Teens Tutor Teens, where she leads efforts to expand access to education and build strong support systems for students. She has helped manage a statewide team of tutors, balance student needs with peer availability, and create a welcoming and inclusive learning environment. She interned at Crabapple Medical Center, where she gained hands-on experience in geriatric care, shadowed clinical procedures, and contributed to testing new technology for an aesthetics expansion. These experiences have deepened her interest in neuroscience and medicine, especially in how healthcare can be made more equitable and effective. Ganiv is also a poet and writer, with work like Healing Threads and Effects of Terminal Insomnia exploring themes like mental health, identity, and resilience. She is currently organizing a TEDx event for teens to spotlight youth voices and ideas that deserve a platform. Driven, reflective, and always ready to take initiative, Ganiv is passionate about creating change both in her community and in the future of healthcare.
I'm passionate about
I'm passionate about creating opportunities for others to grow, especially when it comes to education and healthcare. I believe in building systems that give people the support they need to succeed, whether it’s through tutoring, leading a team, or making healthcare more accessible. I'm also deeply invested in mental health awareness, because we often overlook the invisible struggles that affect so many of us. Writing has always been a way for me to process and share those thoughts, and through poetry, I’ve found a way to connect with others on a deeper level.
An idea worth spreading
An idea worth spreading is that true leadership is about listening, supporting others, and creating opportunities for growth not just being in charge.
