Since childhood, I’ve always been passionate about exploring and sharing new ideas, the kind that spark conversations and challenge perspectives. I loved discussing unheard topics and bringing fresh perspectives into the room. Naturally, TEDx, with its legacy of "ideas worth spreading," was something I deeply admired and aspired to be a part of. When I entered college, I was disappointed to discover that there was no TEDx society or platform. It felt like something was missing—a space where students could share their voices and connect over meaningful ideas. That disappointment didn’t hold me back; instead, it lit a fire within me. I decided to create what I felt was missing. With a lot of enthusiasm and determination, I started TAD, a journey to bring TEDx to our college. What followed were months of drafting applications, sending emails, and facing rejection after rejection. It was disheartening at times, but I refused to give up. I believed in the vision of giving our college community a stage to share ideas that matter. After nearly nine to ten months of persistence, we finally got a response. That moment was nothing short of magical—it wasn’t just an acknowledgment of my efforts but also a reminder that perseverance pays off. TEDx became a reality, not just for me, but for every voice in our college waiting to be heard.
