Dario Cardile is Senior AI Lead at BTO Research, where he heads the Artificial Intelligence practice and advises client executive committees through AI adoption programmes, from use-case selection to change management. He has worked in Artificial Intelligence since 2017. He served as President of Indigo AI, one of the first Italian conversational AI companies, growing its revenue tenfold in five years, and as Chief Growth Officer of Digitiamo, where he founded and directed the AI Academy for businesses and leadership teams. A graduate in Mathematics and Computer Science from the University of Pisa with an MBA from the Smurfit Business School in Dublin, he brings twenty years of general management across Italy, Europe, Australia and the United States - Accenture, PayPal, the Expedia Group, Groupon, Altisource - three companies founded and two led as chief executive. He is the author of “Digital Transformation: Strategies and Tools for the SMEs of the Future” (Egea – Bocconi University), the first book on the subject published in Italy, and taught Digital Transformation for nine years at Il Sole 24 ORE Business School. He lives in Como, Italy. He also teaches probono Digital Skills at secondary level and is a Teach For Italy Fellow: a two-year programme that places professionals as teachers in high-need schools to address educational inequality, part of the global Teach For All network. He is President and founder of Associazione YouthLakeComo, through which he runs the TED-Ed Student Talks programme and organises the TEDx edition dedicated to local students. He is also an organiser of TEDxLakeComo.

TEDx Organizer I start to attend the TEDxLakeComo event, first in Italy since 2008. Then I start collaborate with it a few years later. In 2024 I setup first TEDxYouth@LakeComo to address local secondary school and university students. Now I am also organizer at both events, with great pride and love of the new direction TED is taking with Sal Kahn and TED-Ed.

Sleeping anywhere in any position, in any place. I work around the clock: because I love what I do. But when I decide to stop, I can sleep really anywhere.
