NATASHA TSAKOS Natasha Tsakos is a Swiss Artist, from Geneva Switzerland who lived in England, France, Latin America, and the USA. This gave her the chance to learn and fluently speak French, Spanish and English, though she prefers silence. President and Founder of theatre company ZERO llc., Miss. Tsakos brings the creative, innovative vision, and the art of orchestrating the various disciplines applied to the execution of high leveled productions. Miss Tsakos has over 300 acting credits, written 12 original works, directed 30 plays. Commissioned by Nickelodeon, Miami Art Museum, Miami Light Project, The Adrienne Arsht Center. Featured in HBO, MTV, BBC. Also a member of Miami Performing Arts Center first theater troop: Natasha was exposed to more than 300,000 people with over 82 performances scheduled. Natasha worked with the Big Apple Circus (NY) as a Doctor Clown for two consecutive years. Natasha also performed with Cirque du Soleil for the Super Bowl Opening Ceremony 2007. For the past 5 years, Natasha has been pushing the boundaries of contemporary performance, creating the perfect concoction of new, modern and exhilarating entertainment: Up Wake, which premiered to a sold out house at the Carnival Center for the Performing Arts in December 2006, toured in Austin Texas, followed by a sold out 3 City tour in Mexico.

ZERO wishes to contribute to the world we live in by touring UP WAKE (www.upwake.com) in places where people are hungry for dreams, thirsty for hope and in need of humanity. ZERO wants to build a light bulb cemetery powered by solar grids, honoring our transition from incandescence to fluorescence. The light bulb cemetery would have tourist appeal, as well as become a historic landmark reminding us of the eco-shift currently occurring. ZERO wants to install brooms in all metropolitan city blocks, created by local artists, available to all passerby’s, to raise awareness and create a fun, new interaction between citizens and their city. ZERO wants to be the first clown to perform on the Moon. In collaboration with Scientists and Illusionists, ZERO would like to to find out if, when all citizens of this world project themselves onto the moon, the weight of our planet shifts...? … and ZERO has many more….. ideas worth spreading.

I have over the last 5 years developed a show entitled: UP WAKE. Up Wake is a humane and tragic comedy following Zero, a toon character, throughout his musical day of dream and wake. A modern, fast-paced and fresh metaphor of Today put under a microscope and through a telescope. More than a show, Up Wake is a science project, where sound, computer generated images and performer and meticulously in-sync with each other, bringing a high definition quality to the stage, fusing clowning, movement, dreams and technology. I integrate these hyper-real aesthetics of technology and performance into a magical journey of the human soul. My goal is to tour UP WAKE globally, not only in sophisticated Theater Houses but in places deprived of art, where UP WAKE can lift, touch and elevate those hungry to dream. I also see ZERO as a unique ambassador, reaching people by suggesting honest, simple and essential concepts.
