Bio
As a Public History student at the University of Minnesota Duluth, I am passionate about making a positive impact in my community. I have gained valuable experience in leadership and organization through various roles in student government and community service organizations. As the President of Twin Ports Rotaract, I successfully restarted a community service organization under Rotary International, expanding to have satellite clubs at University of Minnesota Duluth, and at UW-Superior. I led the organization as the main spokesperson, overseeing administrative tasks and ensuring smooth operations of satellite clubs. I also worked with board members to organize community service events and speakers, delegating tasks and leading monthly club meetings. Additionally, I participated in weekly congressional meetings and led the Rules and Elections committee at the University of Minnesota Duluth-Student Government Association, where I spearheaded a Mental Health Initiative to create a safe student study space. I am eager to apply my skills and knowledge to make a difference in the world. I want to organize a TEDx event in Duluth and make it a annual event in the Duluth and broader community.
