I have always been fascinated by this platform, passionate about it, wondering how speakers stand with such confidence and talk about whatever they desire—their experiences, ideas, daily work, and the essence of their lives. I have always wanted to be one of them. I was also captivated by the audience—sometimes deeply listening, other times actively engaging. This vast audience extended beyond the walls of the venue, touching the hearts of millions. I was just as passionate as they were, yet I didn’t know many details. I tried to draw inspiration from the speakers through the small screen in front of me. That’s when I realized that this wasn’t just a passing interest—I became certain that within each of us lies something that drives us to wake up every morning, something that pushes us to do our best, to compete, to have fun, to start beautiful initiatives. Something that propels us forward to continue our journey, to accomplish our work, and to fulfill our responsibilities toward those we care about. And truly, in my opinion, this is something fundamental—it gives life its precious meaning. Then discovered TED more deeply through someone who has since become a role model to me
