Bio
Rob Mallan is a speaker, author, transformation coach, TEDx organizer, and global "solutionary" who is passionate about helping others live with purpose, power, and impact.
At 19 years old, Rob’s life took a dramatic turn when he found himself in prison—broken, lost, and without direction. In that darkest season, he had a life-altering encounter with God that became the catalyst for radical transformation. His journey from incarceration to inspiration is a living testament to the power of faith, resilience, and redemption.
Overcoming years of trauma, addiction, and emotional pain, Rob has spent more than three decades guiding people to rise above their limitations and live out their true calling. His transformational coaching approach—rooted in spiritual principles and real-life strategy—has helped thousands of individuals from all walks of life, including inmates, students, athletes, entertainers, CEOs, and community leaders.
Rob is the author of two powerful books: Speak Your Way to Greatness and Ignite the Stage. Both are designed to equip readers to use their voice, story, and mindset to influence the world around them. As a communicator and coach, Rob helps people break through limiting beliefs, align their lives with purpose, and lead with clarity, confidence, and conviction.
A visionary leader and humanitarian at heart, Rob serves as the curator and organizer of TEDxChannelside District in Tampa, Florida. He is committed to amplifying ideas worth spreading, especially those that spark hope, healing, and transformation in the world.
Whether he’s mentoring one-on-one, speaking on global stages, or organizing game-changing conversations, Rob Mallan shows up with compassion, conviction, and a deep desire to see lives changed. His message is simple but powerful: No matter where you start, your story still has power, and your voice still matters.
I'm passionate about
I'm passionate about helping people unlock the power of their voice, rise above limiting beliefs, and live with purpose, healing, and bold conviction. I believe every story matters, and when shared with authenticity, it can become the spark that transforms lives, communities, and generations. Whether I’m coaching, speaking, writing, or organizing TEDx events, I’m driven by a desire to awaken potential, restore hope, and activate purpose in every person I encounter.
An idea worth spreading
One voice can shift a room. One story can change a life. One decision can alter destiny.
When you stop hiding from your story and start speaking from it, everything changes. Your voice is more than words—it’s a weapon for good, a bridge to healing, and a spark that ignites others into action. You don’t have to be perfect to be powerful. You just have to be real, willing, and ready to speak life into a world that’s waiting for your sound.
The moment you say “yes” to purpose is the moment you step into legacy.

The TED story
I attended TEDxNextGen in Atlanta, and the experience was both inspiring and catalytic. I was deeply encouraged by the diversity of voices, the depth of ideas, and the meaningful interaction among attendees from all backgrounds. It challenged me to think bigger about the power of curated storytelling within community spaces and sparked the desire to create something similar within my own network — an event where real people share real stories that move others forward. It affirmed how a well-curated TEDx event can unify, activate, and expand what’s possible for a community.
Things you might not know
People don’t know I’m good at turning chaos into clarity—and doing it with a smile, a whiteboard, and probably a cup of Cuban coffee. I’m that guy who can take your 37 scattered ideas, your half-finished book, your TED Talk panic, and your “I have no clue what I’m doing” moment—and help you turn it into a message, a plan, and a mic-drop moment. It’s part therapy, part strategy, and part Holy Spirit.
