About Dan
Bio
Dan Stover, M.A. has spent nearly two decades asking the question most leaders avoid: are you actually living a meaningful life, or just a productive one?
It’s not a theoretical question for him. As a leader within Suicide Prevention Services, he trained crisis specialists to connect authentically with families in the hardest moments of their lives. A 2012 TEDx talk on suicide brought that work to a broader audience. A near-fatal motorcycle accident in Indonesia in 2018 reaffirmed why it mattered, deepening his conviction that the most important work any leader can do is internal.
As Founder and CEO of Ensight Partners, Dan leads a team of consulting psychologists specializing in leadership advisory and organizational transformation. He works alongside executives and boards on the decisions that define institutional health: leadership selection, governance, M&A strategy, and culture, always grounded in the belief that performance and the soul of people are not competing priorities.
Ensight Partners has twice earned Geneva Group International’s Excellency Award for that approach.
He works with Fortune 500 companies, Nobel prize winning research teams, as well as small businesses, entrepreneurs, and nonprofits, because he believes transformative leadership shouldn’t be a privilege a few, but a standard of the many.
