My name is Mausami Patsute I am 19 year old engineering student from Mumbai, India. I like reading books and I'm also a rookie writer

I am deeply passionate about writing and storytelling. These are two activities that allow me to express myself very well. I enjoy writing speeches, essays and poems and love sharing them with friends who have similar interests. My passion for writing began in my early school years. I grew up as an only child and found some of my earliest friends among the characters of children’s stories. I used to make up stories of my own with different characters from various stories or just merge stories together in a whimsical manner as a child would. Even today my dad reminisces about how I used to read different stories and narrate them with different endings. I believe that is where my love for writing and storytelling was born. As of today I spend my time writing for college clubs and committees. I’m also a junior editor for “Nirmaan”, my college magazine.Lately I’ve been working on a book named ”Fragments”, it is a compilation of some of my poems and I intend to publish it on online reading platforms. When it comes to storytelling and public speaking, I actively participate in college festivals and events as a host and take up the role of interviewer whenever my college has guest speakers. I have also been a member of my local Toastmasters International club since January 2023 and have been giving speeches under the pathway named visionary communication . All of these things that I’ve been doing to nurture my passions are simply means to spread my ideas and stories with my peers, friends, and loved ones.
