About Steve

Bio

I am happily married to Gina for nearly 34 years, dad to Lauren, Matthew, and Hannah, and “Papa” to Everett and Rowan. I have been in the energy and sustainability space for a long time (measure it in decades, but call me old at your own peril), and I learn something new every day in this space that changes so fast. I have worked on the north slope of Alaska in my early days out of undergrad (BS in Mathematics, Wheaton College, MBA from Duke) and criss-crossed the US in varying roles as the energy industry has transitioned through a number of phases. I joined Summit Energy in 2001 and became CEO a few years later. The business grew substantially over the next decade before Schneider Electric acquired the company in 2011. 13 years later, bucking the trend of former CEO’s making quick exits after hitting the “jackpot”, I serve as the President of the global Sustainability Business for Schneider Electric, a leader in sustainability and making an Impact on our world, doing what I love to do with people that share the same passions.
