I'm passionate about

I am deeply passionate about reading, learning, and connecting with people—especially through creating platforms to empower students via impactful, real-world projects. One such initiative is Meow-Meow Land, a nonprofit organization I founded in 2019 to rescue stray cats on campus and in our neighborhood. I mobilized a group of students interested in this cause, facilitated the election of their leaders, provided initial resources and facilities, shared foundational concepts, and delivered leadership training. Now in its sixth year, Meow-Meow Land operates with a dedicated student leadership team and specialized departments: a construction department that builds shelters and improves living conditions for rescued cats; a merchandise department designing Meow-Meow Land T-shirts, umbrellas, and badges for charity sales; ; a healthcare unit documenting feline health, administering deworming, and coordinating with veterinarians; a publicity division promoting cat adoptions; a logistics group managing feeding and habitat maintenance. This project fosters students’ compassion, responsibility, teamwork, and leadership skills. Beyond this, I’ve initiated and co-designed numerous short- and long-term programs. Two notable examples include: A transformative, student-led research trip to Dunhuang that I curated; A sustainable fashion campaign (co-created with a colleague) raising awareness about eco-friendly practices in the fashion industry. This project established our community’s annual clothing swap tradition.
