I'm passionate about

I have been involved in TEDxRoyalTunbridgeWells since 2016, having attended the first event in 2015. I was initially a speaker coach and part of the organising committee. I went on to take a lead speaker coach and co-curator role in 2017 and was Chair in 2019 and 2020. In 2020 I was due to attend TEDFest with a view to taking over the license. When it was cancelled due to Covid I attended the online license holders event and after a hiatus am delighted to be working alongside the team that is bringing TEDx Royal Tunbridge Wells back. We're excited for the future.

An idea worth spreading

The chances are there are young people in your local community, there certainly are in ours, who are not getting to put their skills to use, or to contribute to society and socialise in the way they are capable of, because they are being underestimated in what they can offer. Time meeting and understanding young people with special needs in your area would be time well spent.

Playing the clarinet - which after a 28 year break I have started to do again this year and am loving every second of being back in a wind band!
