Bio

Two-time Olympian, scientist, philanthropist, speaker on building resilience, and executive coach to leaders in some of the biggest companies in the world, like AWS, Salesforce, Meta, and others. I design and conduct leadership training and team building events, and have worked with over two hundred of companies, from Google, Intel, Microsoft, Cardinal Health, Amazon, AmEx, to nonprofits (American Red Cross) and educational institutions, like Stanford University. Founder and CEO of Climate Executive Coaching, a nonprofit that provides leadership training and solution-focused professional coaching to accelerate results for climate and sustainability leaders and teams. Growing up in communist Bulgaria, I experienced first-hand the despair associated with lack of opportunities, which propelled me to build resilience in the face of big obstacles. Becoming a scientist in the US, I worked in the pharmaceutical industry, and later, I decided to pursue my Olympic dream - learning to play a new sport and competing in two Olympics. Currently, I am working with the International Olympic Committee's climate initiatives, designing and implementing leadership training for the inaugural group of climate action officers for 18 National Olympic Committees.
