I am Gordon Geraghty, a passionate marketing specialist and entrepreneurial self-starter who enjoys a challenge. During my time in college and my numerous activities, where I became the chairman of the largest society with just being enrolled for little over a month. I quickly learned and adapted to the new demands and roles as I was forced to sink or swim or as I like to say, a baptism of fire. When I chose my college courses; Theoretical Physics, Law and Event Managment. Each of them had one common theme, the aim to help and leave something good afterwards. I ended up in the event sector as I hope that each event will lead to something greater. Each and everything I do, I have it in the back of my mind. 'How will this help'. This is my mantra going forward as each venture such a TEDx was meant to inspire those in attendance. Inceno, to create a non-existing solution for the restaurant sector. My numerous positions held during my time in DIT and Smurfit via the Students Union, The Societies Executive, consultanting/advising students and startups alike, all through to my daily life. I will continue to use my skills to help through a variety of ventures. Whether that be through; marketing, events or advising.
