I have always believed that ideas are most powerful when they sit at the intersection of disciplines where technology meets humanity, and responsibility meets innovation. My journey began with a simple but persistent question: How can we design a future that is not only smarter, but safer and more humane? As the founder and organizer of TEDxSangelaj, and later as the first organizer of Web Summit in Iran with a focus on smart urbanization and innovation, I found my answer in creating platforms for dialogue. Platforms where ideas are not just shared, but challenged, connected, and transformed into action. For me, events are not about stages and speakers; they are about ecosystems bringing together minds that would not normally meet, and allowing new perspectives to emerge. My professional focus lies at the intersection of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) and Artificial Intelligence. I work with an algorithmic mindset and connective thinking, viewing humans, technology, and the environment as parts of one integrated system. In a world shaped by complexity, I believe siloed expertise is no longer enough. The real breakthroughs happen when we think systemically, across disciplines, and with long-term responsibility. I use artificial intelligence not as an end in itself, but as a tool for intelligent decision-making, risk prediction, strengthening safety culture, and building sustainable cities where data carries meaning and innovation serves social impact. Technology, in my view, only matters when it protects lives, reduces risk, and enhances the quality of our shared future. Through organizing national and international events, I have witnessed how a single idea when placed in the right context can shift mindsets and spark collective action. This is what drives me: inspiring a new generation of ideators, professionals, and thought leaders to think beyond boundaries, decide responsibly, and design solutions that are both intelligent and deeply human. This is my TED story a story about connection over isolation, systems over silos, and a future where smart, safe, and sustainable are not separate goals, but one shared vision.
