Bio
I was born in Turin, Italy, and for more than thirty years my journey has taken me across 120 countries, building companies in different industries and guiding thousands of people toward a fuller, more intentional life.
Today I live in the United States with my wife Joyke, my partner in life and business for over 35 years, and I am the proud father of three children who have each chosen very different paths — from the Marine Corps to creative design, from e-sports at a world-class level to running marathons. My family is the center of everything I do and the force that has always pushed me to dream bigger.
My work bridges two worlds: the pragmatism of an entrepreneur and the vision of an educator.
I have been honored with two recognitions from the U.S. government for my contributions to business coaching and digital innovation, an ethical certification from the Italian Parliament, and an honorary merit from the Gandhi Foundation in India.
Yet what truly matters to me are not the awards, but the transformations I have witnessed — entrepreneurs who rediscovered meaning in their work, communities that found new energy to grow, individuals who unlocked potential they didn’t know they had.
I have written books, hosted podcasts, spoken at conferences across continents, and built multimillion-dollar enterprises.
But my real mission is creating spaces where people feel seen, heard, and inspired. I believe each of us carries a spark powerful enough to change the world around us, and that the role of a leader is not to impose rules but to unleash the hidden strength of others.
Life for me has also been a constant adventure. I have crossed deserts, climbed mountains, sailed oceans, and wandered through cities invisible to most tourists.
I like to think of myself as an “entrepreneurial explorer” — part Indiana Jones seeking mysteries in forgotten corners of the world, and part coach helping people discover treasures within themselves. Every journey is not just a route on a map but also an inner expedition: every culture, every face, every challenge is a piece of a larger mosaic.
Sports are another essential part of my path. From playing competitive padel to running marathons with my son, to daily training as a discipline of life, I consider the body a temple and sports a philosophy.
Competing and training are not simply about testing limits, but about reconnecting each day with the energy of being alive.
At the core of it all is a simple but radical philosophy: life is not a battlefield, it is a laboratory of possibilities.
Every encounter, every project, every mistake is an invitation to grow. True success is not measured by what we accumulate, but by what we give.
It is not about running faster, but about helping others run alongside us.
From India, where I supported educational projects for children, to rural America where I now live and work, I am guided by one belief: the future belongs to those who can honor deep roots while daring to imagine wide horizons.
Tradition is not a limit, but a springboard. Innovation is not a luxury, but a responsibility. And education, in all its forms, is the greatest act of love we can offer to the generations to come.
This is the story I continue to write each day: a life devoted to building bridges between cultures, generations, and possibilities.
A life lived as an adventure, a discipline, and a search for meaning.
A life that, in both small and great ways, seeks to leave behind a spark of light.
I'm passionate about
I am passionate about creating spaces where people feel truly seen, valued, and inspired to grow.
For me, passion is not an abstract word — it is the energy that moves people from survival to possibility, from isolation to connection, from doubt to confidence.
I am passionate about helping communities that are often overlooked discover their own strength.
Small towns, rural areas, and hidden corners of the world hold extraordinary stories that deserve to be heard.
When we give young people in these communities the opportunity to step forward, they reveal leadership that is not only local but global. Their courage and creativity can transform places that were once forgotten into centers of inspiration.
I am passionate about human potential — the spark inside each of us that waits to be unlocked.
Through coaching, education, sports, and exploration, I have seen people surpass limits they thought were permanent. I believe that success is not about collecting titles or wealth, but about expanding the possibilities of our lives and the lives of those around us.
I am passionate about exploration, both outer and inner.
I have crossed deserts, climbed mountains, and traveled through more than 120 countries, but my greatest discoveries have always been the people I met and the lessons they carried.
Life, to me, is an expedition: every culture we encounter, every story we listen to, every tradition we respect becomes a map that guides us toward deeper understanding.
I am passionate about sports and performance as ways of honoring life itself.
Running, playing, training — these are not just activities for me, but practices that remind us of the strength of the body and the resilience of the spirit.
When I run a marathon with my son or step onto a court for competition, I feel that passion is not about winning, but about being fully alive in the moment.
Most of all, I am passionate about building bridges — between cultures and generations, between tradition and innovation, between the dreams of individuals and the needs of communities.
Every day, I wake up with the belief that passion is not something we keep for ourselves, but something we share.
When passion is shared, it becomes contagious.
It inspires people to rise, to create, and to imagine a future that is bigger than any of us alone.
An idea worth spreading
Every person carries a spark powerful enough to change the world; leadership begins when we create the space for that spark to shine.
I believe the future belongs to those who can honor their roots while daring to imagine wider horizons.
Tradition and innovation are not opposites — they are two complementary forces that, when embraced together, create meaningful and sustainable progress.
Communities become stronger when they celebrate where they come from and, at the same time, open themselves to new possibilities.
My idea worth spreading is that overlooked places and overlooked people hold an untapped power.
Young people growing up in small towns or rural communities are not defined by geography; with the right opportunities, they can become leaders who connect their hometowns to the wider world.
When their voices are heard, they bring fresh energy, creativity, and pride to communities that have too often been forgotten.
I have witnessed this in my own journey.
After traveling through more than 120 countries, working with entrepreneurs, students, and leaders from every background, one truth stands out: greatness is not concentrated in big cities or privileged circles.
It is distributed everywhere — in a child with a dream, in a community that refuses to give up, in traditions that carry the seeds of renewal.
Sports, exploration, and education are powerful metaphors for this vision.
Training for a marathon, competing in sports, or embarking on an expedition all reveal the same lesson: potential is unlocked when discipline meets imagination.
Education, in all its forms, is the highest act of love for the generations that will follow.
And exploration — whether of new lands, new ideas, or new parts of ourselves — is what keeps humanity alive and moving forward.
The idea worth spreading is simple but profound: every community and every person has the capacity to inspire the world. By empowering people to see themselves not as limited by their circumstances, but as contributors to a shared future, we can transform local stories into global inspiration.
This is how we build bridges across cultures, generations, and possibilities — and how we create a future that belongs to all of us.

The TED story
My TED story began in 2011, when I first came across a talk that completely changed the way I looked at the world: Simon Sinek’s “How Great Leaders Inspire Action.”
I was struck by it.
Those simple yet powerful words opened my eyes to the fact that leadership is not about rules, but about the ability to communicate a deeper “why.” From that moment, I discovered TEDx and realized it was not just about conferences, but about a true cultural movement.
I wanted to learn more. I read the book by TED’s curator, Chris Anderson, “TED Talks: The Official TED Guide to Public Speaking,” which became a valuable compass for understanding not only the history but also the philosophy behind the project.
At the same time, I subscribed to the official YouTube channel and watched hundreds of talks.
They quickly became a part of my own training and my work: I shared them during events, used them to inspire others, and showed how a single idea can grow into a movement.
Over time, I felt the desire to go beyond being just a viewer. I prepared my own speaker application, living by then in the United States, and worked hard to shape my ideas in a way that could be clear, universal, and worthy of a TEDx stage.
But soon I realized that my path with TEDx was not only about becoming a speaker. I understood that my real journey was to become a licensee — to use my knowledge, experience, and talent to create a stage for others, to give people in my community the chance to share their voices and their visions with the world.
That is why I decided to apply for a TEDx license in the place where I live now, a small town in northern Florida.
A community that is often overlooked but full of untold stories and extraordinary people.
The idea of bringing TEDx to this place excites me deeply — it feels like closing a circle that began years ago with a video on YouTube.
Today, after more than a decade of following TEDx as a passionate viewer, I find myself on the other side: exploring the tools and resources available in my TEDx account, preparing to build something meaningful.
For me, this journey is just beginning.
TEDx, to me, is not only an event or a brand: it is a way to change the world, person by person, community by community.
It is proof that when ideas are shared with passion and authenticity, they have the power to transform reality.
Things you might not know
People don’t know I’m good at stepping into other worlds — through cosplay, live action role-playing, or even the immersive adventures of vintage video games.
I started playing Pong in 1977 and never stopped gaming, carrying that same sense of curiosity and play into my adult life.
I’m also passionate about prepping, always exploring ways to be resourceful and resilient.
I am a lifelong collector of collections.
From ancient books to Japanese robots, from medieval manuscripts to Roman coins, I have spent my life fascinated by objects that carry stories across time.
For me, collecting is not about possession but about preserving fragments of history and imagination.
I love dogs — especially dachshunds (We have eleven of them) — and I can talk about pizza and sushi for hours, blending my Italian roots with my passion for Japanese culture.
I spend much of my free time reading, writing novels, and hunting for hidden treasures and forgotten legends around the world.
Exploring the past, collecting vintage objects, and searching for mysteries is just another way of living as an adventurer in everyday life.
