Bio
Hi, I’m Srishti Yadav. I’m an MSc Economics graduate from Maynooth University with a passion for exploring big ideas and how they connect to the real world. I’ve worked across teaching, event management, business operations, and research, which has taught me how to turn curiosity into impact. I’ve been involved with TEDxShivajiCollege and discovered how much I love creating spaces where ideas spark meaningful conversations. I’ll be excited to continue that journey and help bring transformative ideas to life for TEDx audiences.
I'm passionate about
Exploring ideas that bridge gaps—between people, knowledge, and opportunity. I love uncovering insights that challenge assumptions, spark curiosity, and inspire action. Whether it’s in economics, technology, or social change, I’m driven by the potential to turn complex problems into meaningful solutions and help others see possibilities they hadn’t imagined. At the cost of sounding cliché, I am passionate about finding my purpose. For me, it’s not just about a career or a title—it’s about uncovering how I can make a meaningful impact to feed my own thirst for impetus. Every project I take on, every problem I explore, is part of that journey: a step toward understanding not just what I can do, but why it matters—and how it connects to others. In that sense, purpose isn’t a destination; it’s a process, a daily practice of asking, observing, experimenting, and connecting.
An idea worth spreading
“Turning AI Disruption into Human Opportunity.”
Across the globe, AI is transforming industries at lightning speed. Economically, this is creating productivity gains—but also widening wage gaps, hollowing out middle-skill jobs, and leaving millions of workers behind. Socially, it’s fueling anxiety, insecurity, and a growing sense of displacement, especially in developing economies where reskilling infrastructure is limited.
But there’s a solution. What if we designed dynamic, accessible reskilling programs that empower people to pivot, adapt, and collaborate with AI rather than compete against it? Imagine a software tester in India—let’s call her Ananya. Her routine tasks are automated overnight. Instead of losing her livelihood, she accesses a microlearning program that teaches her AI auditing and workflow optimization. Within months, she moves into a role that didn’t exist before, earning more and feeling more empowered than ever.
The surprising result? AI didn’t replace Ananya—it unlocked her potential. By reframing disruption as an opportunity, we don’t just protect jobs; we create new pathways, foster human creativity, and reduce inequality. The real power of AI isn’t in what it can do for businesses—it’s in what it can do for people willing to grow with it.

The TED story
I started my TEDx journey as a curious member of the creatives team, helping bring ideas to life visually and conceptually. As I grew into roles of event manager, producer, and eventually Lead Organizer and Licensee, I learned what it really takes to bring an event from vision to stage—the late nights, impossible deadlines, last-minute surprises, and the delicate choreography behind every talk. It’s been tense, exhilarating, and deeply cathartic—a journey where every challenge is matched by the thrill of seeing ideas spark curiosity, connect people, and inspire change. Along the way, I discovered that TEDx isn’t just about talks; it’s about curating experiences that leave a lasting impact, and carrying that spirit into every project I take on.
