About Bessma
Bio
Bessma Aljarbou leads Apple’s Supplier Carbon Solutions, which includes the Supplier Clean Energy Program and Supplier Energy Efficiency and Abatement Programs. Her team is responsible for transitioning Apple’s global supply chain to renewable energy, while encouraging facility-level carbon reductions and innovations via energy efficiency and direct emissions abatement.
Bessma has spent the last 14 years bringing cleantech technologies and businesses to market, working closely with global technology, business and policy stakeholders.
Bessma grew up in the Middle East and spent most of her career in New York City and California. She is an alumna of MIT Sloan, the Harvard Kennedy School and the University of Virginia.
