Battlerap - the art form of humorous and creative ways to write punchlines that keep an audience engaged and make your opponent look stupid. It is comparable to modern politics delivered in rhymes. It is an art form about creative writing skills, stand up comedy timing and plain rap skills. It’s like poetry slam for mean people.

Hope in a fearful world. The ideas of rational optimists like Hans Rosling, Marian Tuoy, Bjorn Lomborg and Steven Pinker changed the way how I see the future and the state of the world. If you listen to the media pictures the you will get the image of humanity getting worse and the problems bigger: World hunger, increasing poverty, declining job market. But if you look at the data, in the last 50 - 100 years the world kept improving tremendously in all areas of life. This positive outlook gave me hope to try to become a change maker myself instead of regressing into pessimistic nihilism.

My TED Story began with Simon Sineks Talk about the Golden Circle. Starting with why was a book that I studied in my youth which has accompanied me until now. Since then I watched many TED Talks ranging from how to be humorous, vulnerable, how to beat box or stoicism. TED became a source of inspiration for me to integrate those ideas in my daily life.
