Bio
For the past 15 years, Jennifer has worked across public, private and nonprofit sectors to advance solutions to large-scale social and public policy challenges. At Pearson, she oversees the company's global social impact programming, primarily through the flagship campaign Project Literacy, and directs employee engagement activities for social impact.
Before joining Pearson, Jennifer worked at Human Rights Watch, elevating issues related to women’s rights and juvenile justice through targeted partnership building and advocacy. Earlier, she co-founded the Halifax International Security Forum – a global network of public and private sector leaders – and helped build the organization into a platform for dialogue and action on peace and security issues. She also oversaw corporate and multilateral partnerships for the National Democratic Institute (NDI) and led a campaign to build public support for foreign aid. She was a Fulbright Scholar in Chile and holds a B.A. in International Affairs and an M.P.A. in Public and Nonprofit Management and Policy.
